Conference Organizers
This conference is main organized by the China National Center of Ethical Studies, Renmin University of China, which was established in 1999, sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Education. As an institution committed to research on ethics in all fields and professions, the Center operates as a unique community of scholars, students and associates, in teaching, research, and consultancy programs, to enhance ethical awareness and improve ethical decision-making in life and work. Given the rapid growth of the information society in China, we are organizing this conference and inviting international scholars to share their knowledge and expertise with us.
The co-organizer of the conference is the International Center for Information Ethics (ICIE). It is with support and help by Professor Rafael Capurro and other friends and colleagues that we have prepared for this conference to establish a new Asia-Pacific Information Ethics Community.
